samcrobro asked: G'day lovely, just wanted to ask if you really do say "hiya darlin'" something aobut it makes me smile haha, probably because I'm an Aussie that loves Southern Accents hahaha

I don’t use Hiya with darlin, hits is usually paired with shug. My personal greeting is ‘Hi there, darlin’!’.

I’m stuck in traffic with my two friends arguing in the front. Hey, Corvette right next to me… I just met you…and this car is craaaazy…but I’m jumping out the sunroof, so catch me baby!

I think without my young love for David Bowie, brought on by watching Labyrinth when I was six, I wouldn’t be quite who I am today. Its amazing how something as simple as music can change a person so deeply. From my first record to singing along on my first drive. Good, bad, and ugly. His records have always been in my playlist. Thanks Bowie. From Ziggy to Jareth, you helped make a southern child a complete weirdo. You keep me wild, young, and far too hard in the seventies.

I was raised a certain way. I was raised to be respectful. Yes ma’am, no sir. I was taught to say thank you, even if its just to the boy at the drive through. To make sure a guest always had a drink & friends always had a place to lay their head. I was raised to respect my elders, to help anyone in need. That if I could help, no matter the job, I better step up to lend a hand. Sure along with those Southern staples I got the belle rules of never having a hair out of place or a chip in my polish, but just because I seem high maintenance doesn’t mean I won’t pull my boots on an help a neighbor break down branches after a thunderstorm. Not to sweep someone else’s porch, but more kids need to be raised like this.
